Hi 20 Somethings! So this weeks Environ Post is a little different, today I’ll be talking about my favourite product from their skincare range, The Balancing Masque.
I didn’t understand what this product was for when I received it, but after a few weeks of using it, no actually, after just a few days, I knew it was what my skin was missing. You literally see a change in your skin the moment you wash it off your face! It contributes to a beautiful and even skin tone.
The mask is meant to be used as an exfoliater but can also be used as an overnight hydration mask. So let’s talk about Exfoliating first; Environ does not believe in harsh peeling which is why they created the Balancing Masque which has micro-exfoliating properties. To use as an exfoliater, I apply it after my Environ Pre-Cleanser, I usually wash it off immediately using my cleanser, but every second day I leave it on for 15-20 mins – to get the most out of the exfoliation process.
It’s great as a Hydration Mask too though. This product can exfoliate and hydrate at the same time because it contains Vitamins E and B5 (which are moisturisers) and kaolin (A micro-exfoliant). To use as a hydration mask, I complete everything else in my Environ Skin care routine and apply the mask on top of my moisturiser and leave it on over night.
Exfoliation should be done once or twice a week. This mask can be used around your eyes and eyelids because it is extremely gentle! If you have oily skin, this is the mask for you, it absorbs excess oil leaving your skin brighter and looking healthier.
I am Obsessed with this product and I know you will be too!
